Here she is all ready for her birthday dinner.
Spaghetti and mini meatballs, corn, and french bread. This girl loves her some spaghetti!
I was so excited to sew this monkey for her (many thanks to the amazing Meghan for helping me with this project!) and what did she do with it might you ask???...
She chucked it around the side of the couch, and thought that even the shirts were cooler...hopefully she'll appreciate my labors when she's older:)
Thanks to all of the grandparents for the nice presents! We missed you today:)
This toy earned the cheesy grin, she thinks she is pretty hot stuff with these wheels:)
She was hesitant at first with her cake, putting her hand on the frosting and then looking at us, but it didn't take long for her to dig right in! She loved it, smooshed it all over her face, and licked her hands clean:)
Happy birthday Soph, we love you sweet girl. I hope to always remember that little grin!

Loved the darling pictures Krista! It's hard to believe it was a year ago that little Sophie was born! She has grown so much even since this summer. You can bet that she will someday look back on the cute monkey as an heirloom! And your cake was unbelievably darling! Wow I really missed the boat on how to make b-day cakes! Krista I don't even know where to start....there is just so much cuteness going on! I suppose I should start with the cutest...Sophie! I can't believe she is one, I actually thought about her all day yesterday and even thought about calling but I figured she probably didn't care to talk to me:) Ok the Monkey is beyond adorable and I'm certain it will be one of her most treasured items in her older years:) The Cake! Did you make that? You need to post a picture of just the cake...it is So cute and looks So professional! I'm glad Sophie had a good day. I wish we could see her more, but we sure appreciate the pictures! Love you guys!

I can't believe it's been ONE whole year and we have yet to meet this darling little Sophie. She is very cute & so is her little monkey :). WE sure hope to meet her soon.
Krista-she is Beautiful! I can't believe she is a year. They grow way to fast don't they. Love the monkey you crafty girl! When we lived in Billing remember I made that that rag quilt and I still don't think she has even used it. Sad...Its still fun to say we did it! Miss you like crazy we so need to catch up!
